This Privacy Policy describes how Hollow Hour (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) handles information when you use our mobile game.


1. Overview

Hollow Hour is a single-player horror-survival game. We do not require user accounts and we do not operate our own backend server to store personal profiles. Your game progress is kept on your device. The App requires an internet connection and displays ads through Google AdMob.


2. Information We Store on Your Device

The App may store local data such as:


Embers (in-game currency) and unlocks

Equipped characters, weapons, and runes

Talent and stage progress

Audio/vibration settings

Tutorial and onboarding flags

This data stays on your device and is used only to save progress and preferences. Clearing app data or uninstalling Hollow Hour removes this local information.


3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Hollow Hour uses Google AdMob to show ads (including interstitial and rewarded ads). Google and its partners may collect device and advertising-related information (such as advertising ID and approximate device/network data) to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve ad services.

You can manage ad preferences through your device / Google advertising settings where available.


4. Internet Connectivity

The App checks network connectivity so it can run online features and show an offline message when there is no connection. This is for app functionality only.


5. What We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect your real name, postal address, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or payment card details for a Hollow Hour account system.


6. Children’s Privacy

Hollow Hour is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.


7. Data Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate the App, primarily with advertising/platform providers such as Google. We do not sell personal information.


8. Your Choices

Delete local progress by clearing app storage or uninstalling the App

Adjust ad personalization in device/Google settings
